Your child's birthday is a time to celebrate!  Therefore, we will make every effort to plan a celebration on that very day.  However, at times that may not be possible due to our schedule or yours.  If your child would like to celebrate his or her birthday in school, please contact me via email (preferred) or voicemail.   I ask that you plan to have your child bring his or her birthday treat to school in the morning because our schedule often needs to be flexible.  Then, we will find time during the day to have a celebration.

I am encouraging students and parents to plan healthy birthday treats.  Although sweets will be permitted, I challenge you to try a nutritious alternative!
